(***) Award(s) for Outstanding Design of a Playful Technology

To reward general excellence, a distinguished panel of judges has been assembled from industry to assess the projects in this seminar.

Judging Criteria. Outside judges were asked only to consider general excellence and their own professional experience. Contest results do not influence course grades. Projects do not need to be marketable and students do not need to consider technical implementation. As this competition is intended to reward general excellence, judges may consider any criteria in making the award, and make as many or as few awards as they see fit, in whatever categories.

Each project's V. 1 (at least 5 page) Web site will be judged so that students will have a chance to consider any comments and improve their projects before the final.

Judging Begins: Monday, 14 Nov

Award Ceremony: Wednesday, 7 Dec
James Tsai presiding for the distinguished panel of judges.
