Play in Animals [Meeting]

In-class video: Savannah the Cougar; Feline Play

Before this class begins, post a test entry to your blog before class begins. See the handout from 8/29 for instructions. Be sure to:

  • login to Movable Type
  • change your password
  • change the name of your blog
  • type any entry with a title and a body (like "test")
  • press save
  • check to see that your entry appeared

Please bring an example of a playful technology to class today for a show-and-tell. It can be "playful" or "a technology" under any definition we have used in class so far.

If you like today's topic, see the short Miller (1973) and the Lorenz (1954) reading in the (optional) foundational bibliography of this course for more information about it.
