Calling all Mac lovers...

(No, not Mac & Cheese ... Macintosh!)
2 questions:

1. Are any Video Relay Services available to those with the Apple iSight?

& ???

2. Can the iSight be used to place a call to an IP-based videophone?

& ???

I will post the answers when I find out! First one to solve this mystery for me has my total respect, and maybe a prize.

Comments

1. HOVRS www.hovrs.com

2. No.

#2 It goes same thing with PC-based webcam.

I wonder if vp-200 will resolve it. We will find out soon!

1. Yes, with HOVRS via iChat
2. No

Tayler is right.

HOVRS works with iSight. And no, it doesn't work with the VP unit.

1. Yes - using ichat with HOVRS

2. YES YES There is a such software on MAC that allows you to connect with any black VP or DLink's DVC1000 via ip numbers!!
"XMeeting" :)

if you're lucky to have Intel based Mac, then purchase Parallels and get Windows up running and download HOVRS' VideoSign software and you should be able to connect to a VP. (unproved!!!)
